SPECIALIST OR AMATEUR, IRRESPECTIVE OF AGE, NATIONALITY, OR CONDITION, THE VISITOR WILL
FOLLOW A LIVING DIDACTIC JOURNEY OUTLINING THE EVENTS OF THE DREYFUS AFFAIR IN DIRECT
RELATION TO THE EVER-TOPICAL QUESTIONS OF RACISM, ANTI-SEMITISM AND INEQUALITY.
Within this “Memorial”, this dynamic site in memory of the “Affair”, the visitor will discover the same sense
of involvement which, like Zola’s, has helped to advance humanity.
The “bordereau”, the “fake Henry”, the pieces that were used to fabricate guilt in 1894, the “petit bleu”,
the illustrated journals, Zola’s correspondence, the letters of support sent from all over the world to the Dreyfus
family, the caricatures, the drawings, the paintings and the photographs work together to enable the visitor to
follow and understand the upheavals that gripped France and shook the world a little over a century ago.
All will be presented using the finest display tools: facsimiles, projections of manuscripts and digital images,
interactive terminals, consultation screens, etc.
